Afroradio wishes to heartily congratulate Helen Douglas Bakali, our first ever Intern from Afroradio's first College Intern bags a Distinction Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), who has just concluded her Higher Diploma in Development Studies, with an overall Distinction.

Helen joined Afroradio some 12 months ago on work placement from the College and has since demonstrated a high sense of dedication and committment. "I am glad for the opportunity to have been able to use Afroradio's platform to communicate development issues within the community.  I must sincerely thank the management of Afroradio for the support and learning I received through my project work. It's been quite phenomenal", said Helen.

Our new programming schedule will be released on the 10th of October and we wish to urge you to please look out for Helen's and other programmes to listen on. If anyone wants to demonstrate or brush up his/her radio presentation skills, or if you want to join us on work placement, we will be glad to facilitate your desires if you get in touch
