Fashion Show raises awareness of FGM

It was quite an elegant display of style and beauty at the Gresham hotel in Dublin, the venue of the Fashion Show aimed at raising awareness of female genital mutilation. The show was held in augmentation of the campaign against FGM embarked upon by Ifrah Ahmed, a Somali national who herself has been a victim of female genital mutilation. She makes bold to talk about it and also commits to campaigning against the practice as she would not want anymore girl child to go through what she had gone through. What's wrong about it? The western world calls it female genital mutilation. we call it circumcision. it's part of our identity. its part of our completeness. you people in the western world should go away with your self -righteousness holier-than-thou arrogance. I am cut and have no regrets.
